An attorney elected Associate District Judge in 1970 becoming the first African American to be elected Judge in Oklahoma.

Co-founded American State Bank in 1970 and was later named its president, making him the only Black bank president in Tulsa at the time.

Helped organize and charter Gamma Gamma Gamma (ΓΓΓ) Chapter on January 6, 1984, in Madison Wisconsin. Severed as the 29th Twelfth District Representative from 2006 to 2009.
